As regards the fact that the bill for constitutional amendment – which would have banned the relocation of non-Hungarian people to Hungary without the consent of the National Assembly – did not get the necessary two thirds of the votes, Minister of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson has told Hungarian television channel M1 that another form of legal solution should be sought and those tools should be taken into account that safeguard security in Hungary.

Mr. Tuzson further said that those legal opportunities that might be suitable for maintaining the level of protection are currently being examined.
He pointed out that one thing is certain: the level of protection must not be given up on, physical protection, legal protection regarding the physical border barrier, and live force must all be maintained on the border. Also, the fight in Brussels must continue as well.

According to him, the constitutional amendment would have been a good and strong tool for that, but the opposition could not be counted on.

As for Jobbik, he added that the party was only looking for an excuse to back out of the issue.
