The government has released another short film for the elderly; however, this time, it is not an information film but an appeal. The government is asking the elderly to stay at home.
In a video message posted on Facebook on Friday, on behalf of the government, Csaba Dömötör, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister asked the elderly to stay at home.
He stressed that the government has a good reason to ask the elderly to do so. Namely that the virus spreads fast, and the elderly are most at risk from contracting severe infection. Therefore, they are asking the elderly to do everything they can so that they do not have to leave their homes and do not have to go out into the streets.
Mr Dömötör highlighted that this virus has a major impact on everyone’s lives. However, if people observe the main rules, we can avoid even greater problems.
In addition to being broadcast on television, the most recent government appeal to the elderly will also be available on the Internet and posted on printed posters, the State Secretary said.
