Minister of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson has told Hungarian television channel M1 that the Hungarian border closure is being attacked from several directions including the European Commission and the European Parliament (EP).

The Minister of State pointed out that every country must protect the Schengen border and there is a certain political effort - which is sometimes disguised in a legal form – to make the European Union change its migration policy and let everyone in the territory of the EU. The Commission has launched an infringement procedure against Hungary to close the transit zones, and the EP has made a resolution, which is attacking the Hungarian border protection system and defending a terrorist, Mr. Tuzson added.

According to Mr. Tuzson, the results of the Hungarian migration policy are aimed to be abolished.

He also underlined that the migration policy of Hungary can only be successful if it is backed by the people as well regarding which he added that the National Consultation questionnaires can still be returned by Wednesday.
