Hungary can start the new year as a stronger nation, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister said.
Csaba Dömötör stressed that also this year a number of changes will take effect on 1 January, and similar to years past, the Government is able to report good news once again.
The minimum wage will increase again, family support measures will be extended, some taxes will be reduced, while pensions will increase and more funds will be allocated to defence as well, he said, adding that these measures are all a reflection of Hungary becoming a stronger nation.
The Parliamentary State Secretary highlighted that the Government intends for Hungary to be a country, also in the future, which everyone can be proud of on the whole as it is able to protect itself, supports families and appreciates work.
