On Friday, Minister of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson told Hungarian television channel M1 that in terrorist emergency situations there is no time for political debate: decisions need to be made.

Regarding the European football championships in France, Mr. Tuzson said that although it is the task of the French authorities to guarantee people’s safety, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will help with advice and consular services as well.

He added that Hungarians visiting the sports event have been asked to register online so that their location will be known and assistance can be provided to them when necessary.
