“The European Commission is applying a double standard by launching infringement proceedings against Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic for contesting the mandatory distribution mechanism, but not launching proceedings against countries that are not accepting migrants”, the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister’s Minister of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson said on M1 Hungarian television’s Friday evening current affairs program.

“Firm action must be taken against such measures, because they could lead to the disintegration of the European balance and the break-up of Europe”, the Minister of State added.

With relation to the death of Helmut Kohl, Mr. Tuzson spoke about the fact that the former Chancellor was to the Germans what József Antall was to the Hungarians. “Unfortunately, there are no longer any great politicians of this calibre in the EU”, he added.
