According to Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács, what is at stake at the 8 April elections is whether the country will have a national-based government that rejects immigration, or an internationalist government that bows to foreign pressure.

Speaking on Kossuth Radio’s “180 Minutes” program on Thursday morning, Mr. Kovács said that during the past eight years the Government had always made national-based decisions, but that there are various political groups that believe a national way of thinking is outdated, and who are proposing that it should be replaced by an internationalist approach.

The Government Spokesperson also spoke about the fact that the Soros organisations are using all available means to influence decisions in both Hungary and Brussels. “These organisations have an interest in a global system in which nations, borders and national identity become blurred”, he said.

“It is the Governments task to make all of Europe aware of the efforts of these networks”, Mr. Kovács added.
