“Hillary Clinton is a failed politician whose losing campaign was also financed by George Soros”, Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

The Government Spokesperson was reacting to the fact what according to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, the American Democratic Party politician and former presidential candidate criticised British Prime Minister Theresa May for supporting “far-right Viktor Orbán”. According to Clinton, the Conservatives led by May have “come a long way from the party of Churchill after refusing to censure Hungary's Viktor Orbán in the European Parliament” during the debate on the Sargentini Report.

In his response, Mr. Kovács wrote: “Clinton represents Soros’s pro-immigration politics, and these politics were rejected at both the last Hungarian elections and American elections”.
