Minister of State for International Communication and Relations Zoltán Kovács’s second coronavirus test came back negative.

On his Facebook account, Mr Kovács recalled that he met Fidesz’s Director for Communications István Hollik – who later tested positive for coronavirus infection – at an event at the weekend.

“Until the conclusion of the investigations of health care experts and the authorities, I retired to quarantine from which – after the second negative test – I have been released in strict compliance with the instructions of the competent authority,” he wrote.

At the same time, he thanked disease control specialists for their professional, swift and cooperative work.
