On Thursday evening, Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács told Hungarian television channel M1 that the Government of Hungary is not willing to give up any further elements of national sovereignty.

Mr. Kovács underlined that within the EU, there are marked differences between the ideas on migration, security and the future of Europe.

He pointed out, however, that border protection and the question of who Hungary lets in the territory of the country are non-negotiable.
