Every strong economy is based upon an agile, multi-faceted business environment, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said earlier today, at the presentation of the Awards for Successful Enterprises. The award, which the Minister established in August 2013, honours productive work that creates promising enterprises.

In his speech, Mihály Varga stressed that the steadily improving economic outlook of Hungary is mainly attributable to successful enterprises. Besides these, the Government’s prudent fiscal policy and economic policy reform have also played a key part in achieving major economic outcomes.

At the ceremony, the “Investor of the Month” award went to Mizsetáp Ltd, represented by Owner-CEO Csaba Kollár. Confector Mérnök Iroda Ltd was awarded the “SME of the Month” title, represented by CEO Attila Holman. GPS City Ltd CEO Martin Rétai received the “Startup of the Month” award.

On this occasion, two more enterprises were also distinguished by certificates of merit: these had been selected as the representatives of Hungary at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards. The certificates were handed over to CEO Annamária Horváth of NESsT EUROPE non-profit Ltd and Chairwoman Zsanett Ducsai-Oláh of EFH Vállalkozásfejlesztési Public Charity Foundation.
