Last year, a five-fold amount was transferred for domestic enterprises to finance similar projects aimed at increasing production capacity and hiring. By the end of December 2016, 35 decisions had been made concerning the financing of projects, and thus the Government has made commitments of altogether HUF 24.3bn. This means that the value of projects to be implemented by large enterprises is seen to total HUF 60.2bn, he pointed out.

Speaking of details of the first phase of the programme, the Minister said that in 2015 fourteen domestic enterprises have received grants. The HUF 3bn of funding helped implement projects of altogether HUF 8.6bn in Hungary, creating some 500 jobs.
