The World Bank revised its former GDP growth estimate of January 2018 for Hungary upward, by 0.3 percentage points.
Thus the Bank’s analysts have joined other international think-tanks and institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the EBRD and the OECD, which had come to appreciate economic policy in Hungary.
In the half-yearly report entitled Global Economic Prospects the Bank revised the former estimate by 0.3 percentage points, to 4.1 percent.
