“Innovation is the engine of economic growth, and its role is becoming increasingly important”, Parliamentary State Secretary István Nagy said at the launch of a book entitled Research & Development - Innovation in the Service of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture stressed that he regards supporting the advancement of science and the realisation of a world built on advanced technology as an important task both as a politician and an agronomist, highlighting the fact that we must learn to use and apply the latest state-of-the-art technologies.
In the foreword to the book, Minister of Agriculture Sándor Fazekas declared: We believe in future generations and we believe in their willingness to cooperate, their creativity and their knowledge, with which we can take a major step towards an international acknowledged, innovative Hungarian agriculture.
Research & Development - Innovation in the Service of Agriculture provides and insight into Hungarian agrarian higher education and the work of other institutions operating within the sector. The fundamental goal of the book is to present research that is available to and can provide useable results for people working within the field of Hungarian agriculture.
