Thanks to ears of negotiations on the part of the Ministry of Agriculture, 13 Hungarian enterprises have been given permission to export milk and milk products to the People’s Republic of China beginning today.
Thanks to negotiations between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Chinese authorities, and also thanks to the successful on-site inspections held during the course of the past two years, exports can now begin from Székesfehérvár, Csorna, Bácsbokod, Szeged, Zalaegerszeg, Veszprém, Répcelak, Kaposvár, Szekszárd, Vác, Hajdúböszörmény and Kacsóta.
The Government will continue to do everything possible in future to assure new market opportunities for Hungarian enterprises, in addition to which experts from the national Food Chain Safety Office (NFCSO) will advise producers and distributors on how to best conform to the requirements of non-EU countries. In addition to supporting the development of Hungarian producers, agricultural diplomats are also enabling excellent quality Hungarian foods to become better known among foreign buyers and consumers.
Negotiations will continue. The aim of the Ministry of Agriculture is to rapidly increase the number of facilities with export licences within all of the fields that have already received permits.
