Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sándor Farkas and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Vyacheslavovich Brilo met to discuss the reinforcement of economic relations between Hungary and Belarus, including cooperation opportunities within the fields of agriculture and the food industry.
At the meeting, it was stated that successful cooperation has already developed between the two countries in recent years within the field of poultry farming, which the parties would like to expand in future. At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sándor Farkas said significant partnership could also develop in other areas, including the agricultural seed, breeding livestock and breeding poultry sectors.
It was stated at the meeting that Hungary will also be assisting the Republic of Belarus in future with agricultural technologies and via expert knowledge, and the two countries will also be exchanging their experiences within the field of rural development.
