The Ministry of Defence firmly denies a baseless rumor spreading on internet social sites which tries to instill fear of conscription through spreading the copy of a fake draft call.

The Ministry of Defence warns the media and the public that this draft call is a fake which can be used to disturb people’s peace of mind and create uncertainty in the readers.

The Ministry of Defence has repeatedly stated that according to laws in force, there is no conscription in Hungary in peacetime. In close cooperation with the police, the soldiers of Hungary are providing security for all Hungarian citizens in the current tense migration situation as well.
