It was with great sorrow that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary learned of the bomb attack on 17 August 2015 near the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok.

It is now certain that at least 20 civilians were killed and 125 were injured in the atrocity. Hungary expresses its sincere and deepest condolences to the families of the innocent victims and to the people of Thailand. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims at this difficult time of grief.
