His Excellency David Gordon Stuart, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Australia to Hungary has made his farewell visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and was received by dr. Petra Pana, Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Economic Affairs on the 23rd of September 2016.
During his visit the outgoing Ambassador emphasized the significance of the recently signed two intergovernmental agreements in our successful bilateral relations. The Work and Holiday visa agreement complemented by the Air Services Agreement signed today will definitely promote the exchange of Australian and Hungarian citizens between our countries, also strengthening people-to-people contacts.
The parties also discussed the present and future of trade and economic ties between Australia and Hungary.
