The Hungarian Government offers its most sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the London attack, and wishes the injured swift recovery, the Foreign Ministry informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Wednesday evening.

According to their information, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, who is in the United States on an official visit, was shocked to learn about the London events.

They said: tragic events such as these underline the importance of the fact that guaranteeing the security of the European people must be the number one priority in European politics.

„We must increase the efforts of the struggle against terrorism, and must do everything we can in order to restore Europe’s security”, they stressed.

According to Scotland Yard’s information, four people died and at least twenty people were injured in the attack committed on Wednesday in the centre of London.
