Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Levente Magyar spoke at an event organised by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs entitled “Ukraine: Just Business”. Mr. Magyar said that even before the economic crisis Hungarian-Ukrainian bilateral business relations had not been fully exploited.
The Minister of State for Economic Diplomacy said that Hungary is making serious efforts to deepen economic and trade relations with Ukraine.
“We are conducting negotiations with a number of large Ukrainian companies on their setting up operations in North-East Hungary, and we are going to open three new trade missions in Ukraine: in Berehove, Uzhhorod and Ivano-Frankivsk”, he added.
Mihajlo Junger, Chargé d'affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in Budapest, said that Ukraine is mainly interested in internationally recognised Hungarian technologies, including in health care and water management.
