The Government of Hungary was deeply shocked to learn of the terror attack committed by gunmen of the Islamic State on 8 March at the Kabul Sardar Daud Hospital, claiming several lives.

Hungary condemns in the strongest terms this heinous act of terror.

The Government of Hungary expresses its profound condolences to the relatives of the victims and injured. Hungary is committed to supporting the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism as well as in its efforts to create the conditions for the stability and peaceful development of Afghanistan.
