The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was shocked to hear about the attack on the military headquarters and the French Embassy in the capital of Burkina Faso, which claimed many lives.

We condemn the despicable attack in the strongest possible terms, and the attack once again indicates the need for international cooperation to combat terrorism. Our allies will always be able to rely on Hungary in this battle. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
