The Government of Hungary condemns in the strongest possible terms the latest missile test carried out on 5 April 2017 by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

By taking this step, North Korea has once again given proof of its complete disregard for the UN Security Council’s relevant resolutions. Hungary urges closer cooperation than ever and action involving all relevant parties to stop North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes compromising the security of the Korean Peninsula and the wider region.
