The Government of Hungary condemns the missile launches carried out by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on August 3, 2016 in the strongest terms.
It is of utmost concern that the continued test fires directly endanger life and navigation in Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
The repeated test launches of ballistic missiles constitute a grave violation of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and pose a serious threat to the security of Japan, the Republic of Korea and the entire region. We call on the North Korean leadership to immediately suspend all activities that undermine the stability of the region and to abandon its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes.
