The Government of Hungary strongly condemns the tests conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on June 22, 2016 in the course of which two Musudan-type intermediate-range ballistic missiles were fired.

This step poses a serious threat to regional stability as well as to global peace and security; moreover it constitutes a grave violation of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions. We call on the North Korean leadership to suspend its military ballistic missile program immediately and to return to the Six-Party Talks without delay.
