The amendment of the Higher Education and Scientific Exchange Programme between Hungary and Pakistan was signed on 21 February 2017 in Islamabad.
Due to the success of and intense interest in the Stipendium Hungaricum programme the amendment raises the number of scholarships from 80 to 200.
Through this programme of excellence, the Government of Hungary provides 125 scholarships for BA/BSc studies and 50 places for MA/MSc study programmes mainly in the field of agriculture, technical, economics and natural sciences. The programme also provides the opportunity to pursue doctoral studies in Hungary to a further 25 talented young Pakistanis.
