The high turnout rate on election day shows that the people of Myanmar are committed to advancing democracy.

Hungary believes that the election results will bring about a new era of reconciliation, transition to democracy, peace and stability as well as an opportunity for economic development. The Government of Hungary is firmly committed to support Myanmar to achieve these goals.
