Deputy State Secretary for Hungary’s economic Southward Opening policy Szilveszter Bus and the CEO of Hungarian National Trading House Cls. Zsanett Ducsai-Oláh invited the ambassadors of Latin American countries with diplomatic representations in Budapest and Vienna to attend a business seminar in the interests of identifying concrete opportunities for business cooperation.
The aim of the event was to familiarise Latin American partners with concrete business opportunities and technological solutions.
The event was attended by ambassadors from 12 countries in the region, who were provided with detailed information on the activities of the Hungarian National Trading House in Latin America, and on the activities and capacities of three Hungarian companies – Budapest Waterworks, National Toll Payment Plc. and Pannon Fine Food Ltd. – that offer competitive technologies and products.
One group of Ambassadors went on a factory visit to Sirok, where they acquired on-site information on the activities of Mátrametál Limited. The business seminar ended with a wine promotion event held in Eger, the centre of one of Hungary’s most famous wine regions.
