The innovation award winning Hungarian firm and one of the biggest construction companies of Viet Nam signed the document on 19 May 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary in Budapest. The agreement focuses on joint projects to be implemented in the water industry.
Thermowatt Ltd., which offers a technology on energy utilization of waste-heat, was represented by CEO Mr Pál Kiss. On behalf of Hoa Bin Corporation, the agreement was signed by CEO Mr Le Viet Hai. The company employs more than 6000 people and realized an income of 473 million USD last year.
In his welcoming speech István Joó, Ministerial Commissioner for Water Diplomacy, Export and the Danube Region Strategy emphasized that Hungary is committed to strengthening the already excellent cooperation between Viet Nam and Hungary, which will be fostered by projects implemented under the aegis of the MoU signed between the two companies. Prior the signing ceremony, the Ministerial Commissioner discussed the opportunities of further cooperation in the field of water management with CEO Le Viet Hai.
