Coinciding with the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) in Istanbul, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs István Mikola attended the signing of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Turkic Council (TURKKON) agreements.

As part of the WHS, Mr. Mikola also attended a lunch given by Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The two politicians held brief discussions, at which – on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó – Mr. Mikola congratulated the Turkish diplomat on his appointment as a member of the new Turkish government.
