“Shared service centres (SSCs) contribute to enabling more talented and highly trained young people to remain in Hungary”, Parliamentary State Secretary László Szabó from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said at the inauguration of British Telecommunications’ new creative office in Budapest.

“Today, there are almost a hundred SSCs operating in Hungary employing 36 thousand people, most of whom are young graduates. This means that service centres are facilitating the Hungarian Government’s efforts to keep as many talented young professionals as possible here in Hungary. SSCs are proof that graduates can also find meaningful, well-paid jobs in Hungary”, the State Secretary said.

“The knowledge of Hungarian engineers may provide a competitive edge for BT worldwide”, Mr. Szabó declared.
