Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó received Ghanaian Minister for Business Development Ibrahim Mohammed Awal in his office on Thursday evening.

A Hungarian consortium has concluded a 65-million-euro deal to participate in preparations for a sewage and waste management project in Ghana, and a Hungarian printing company has won the right to print Ghana’s new biometric passports. 7 Hungarian model farms recently began operations in the African country.
20 Ghanaian enterprises attended the Hungary-Ghana Business Forum held this week. Advanced talks are in progress on the construction of a 600-million-dollar power station, which will also be party financed by EXIM bank in view of the fact that GE will also be using Hungarian-manufactured turbines during the realisation of the project.
