Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó received the newly appointed Ambassador to Hungary of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Duan Jielong, for an introductory meeting.

Péter Szijjártó and Duan Jielong agreed that Hungarian-Chinese relations have never been as good as they are today, and this holds equally true for political, economic and cultural cooperation.

An important event will take place later this week: on Wednesday and Thursday, the joint working group of the Hungarian, Chinese and Serbian governments will meet in Budapest to discuss the upgrading of the Budapest-Belgrade railway line.
