On Tuesday Parliamentary State Secretary Péter Szijjártó decorated the ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nabeel bin Khalaf bin Ahmed Ashour in recognition of his work to strengthen bilateral trade.
The ministry stated that the ambassador had been working in Hungary for five years. In his laudation, Mr Szijjártó praised Mr Ashour's role in making Saudi Arabia the second largest trade partner for Hungary in the Arab world. He has also greatly contributed to the success of two prime ministerial visits and two Hungarian-Arab forums in the past two years, and the setting up of the Hungarian-Saudi economic mixed committee, he added.
