“A prerequisite for long-term health protection is that we have at our disposal stocks of suitable quantity and quality”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.
The Minister shared a video of goods being unloaded from a cargo plane at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, stating: “Over the past four days, 14 aeroplanes and two heavy goods vehicles have shipped 501 thousand face masks, 2773 patient monitors and 309 respirators from China to Hungary”. “This means that over a thousand respirators have arrived in Hungary during the past week, and further shipments will be arriving on Monday”, he wrote.
