The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade welcomes the successful legislative elections in Tunisia.

With this historic step the Tunisian people yet again proved their political maturity and commitment to complete the democratic transition. The democratic elections in Tunisia have set an important and positive example in the whole region. Hungary is ready to continue and further deepen the cooperation with the democratically elected new government of Tunisia.
