“The attacks against Hungary by the pro-immigration forces are continuing without pause”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Sunday.

In the statement, the Minister reacted to the fact that in Sunday’s edition of German daily Der Tagesspiegel Luxembourgian Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn once again criticized Hungary for not admitting illegal immigrants. “According to Jean Asselborn, the rule of law in Hungary is not in a suitable state”, Mr. Szijjártó said in the communiqué, detailing the contents of the article.

“The Luxembourgian Foreign Minister is an ally of businessman George Soros, incumbent European Commission First Vice-President and Executive Vice-President Designate Frans Timmermans and exiting Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, all of whom want to organise immigration. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, in contrast, is the ally of the Hungarian people in the fight against immigration”, he wrote. “Hungary is a state governed by the rule of law in which the security and rights of the Hungarian people are paramount. And Hungary is a member state of the European Union that is conforming to European regulations when it is protecting its own border, which is also the external border of the European Union”, Mr. Szijjártó emphasised.
