The Government of Hungary is deeply concerned about the wave of terrorism which evolved in Egypt’s el Arish region and caused the death of both security forces and civilians many of whom belong to Egypt’s Christian community. The Government of Hungary offers its sincere condolences to the relatives of those killed in the terrorist attacks and expresses its utmost sympathy to the Egyptian people. The Government of Hungary acknowledges and highly appreciates the efforts of the Egyptian authorities in eradicating terrorist groups and protecting the life of civilians, among them Christians.
