The Government of Hungary profoundly condemns the lethal attack against members of the congregation in the church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in France.

Islamic terrorists have launched a campaign of attacks aimed directly at Christianity. We strongly reject all violent acts aimed at intimidating Christianity, Christian believers and the peaceful followers of any other religion. Together with France and our European partners we will protect Christian European values and assure the peaceful cohabitation of religious communities.
