“The Hungarian economy is expanding dynamically and is becoming increasingly competitive, and accordingly Hungary has an interest in free and fair world trade”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told Hungarian news agency MTI on Tuesday following talks with Latin American ambassadors accredited to Budapest.
In the statement, the Minister added that in harmony with the open trade policy of the Visegrád Group countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, the V4), Hungary is calling for the European Union to develop closer economic and trade relations with the countries of Latin America.
