“The Hungary-China airlift is not stopping for even a single day; the equipment needed for health protection is continuously arriving in Hungary”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on his social media page on Saturday.

“Over the past 24 hours a total of 5.5 million face masks, 600 patient monitors, 80 respirators and thousands of parts required for respirators have arrived in Hungary aboard seven cargo planes”, Mr. Szijjártó emphasised. “Quality control checks and customs procedures are ongoing as we speak, and we are awaiting further shipments on Sunday”, the Minister wrote on Saturday afternoon.
