Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó reported on agreement with relation to the issue of language use and native language education following a meeting with the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights on Tuesday.
In a post on his social media page, Mr. Szijjártó wrote that he and Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović agree that the issue of language use and native language education must be resolved in Transcarpathia. The Minister met with the leaders of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on Tuesday. “Today I am holding discussions on concrete measures in the Council of Europe, and tomorrow I will be doing the same in Ukraine”, Mr. Szijjártó stated on his Facebook page.
