The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade issued a statement on Monday expressing its sympathy to the families of those killed in the terrorist attack in Ankara on Sunday and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
In his statement issued to Hungarian news agency MTI, Péter Szijjártó stressed that Hungary can count on Hungary’s support in the fight against terrorism.
“Nothing can condone terror, we condemn its every form”, the Foreign Minister stated, calling the recent series of terrorist attacks against Turkey appalling.
A car bomb exploded in the centre of Ankara on Sunday evening killing 34 people and injuring 125. This is the third terrorist attack against the Turkish capital since October.
