On 19–20 October 2015 Deputy State Secretary for European and American Affairs Kristóf Altusz attended an international conference in Athens entitled “Religious and Cultural Pluralism and Peaceful Coexistence in the Middle East”.

Deputy State Secretary Altusz held talks with Mr. Petros Mavroidis, political director of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the latest developments in the current migration crisis, the energy security of the South East European region and recent developments in the Western Balkans. In order to promote further constructive dialogue, Mr. Altusz invited his Greek counterpart to Budapest for an official visit.

During his visit to Athens, Deputy State Secretary Altusz also visited Athens-based NGOs and gave an interview to the news site in.gr.
