“We stand in solidarity with our Croatian friends”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a Facebook post on Sunday in reaction to the Croatian earthquake.

“We wish the injured a speedy recovery”, the Minister wrote, adding: “Croatia can count on Hungary assistance in the rebuilding”.

An earthquake shook the Croatian capital of Zagreb on Sunday morning, injuring several people and causing damage to the city’s iconic cathedral. The tremors were also felt in Hungary.
