“According to Hungary’s clear position, a fair agreement must be reached with London at the negotiations on the conditions of Britain’s exit from the European Union, that on the one hand assures that Europe’s competitiveness does not worsen further, and also that the continent’s security remains intact”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Thursday in London.
“Central Europe is closing the gap increasingly markedly and is formulating increasingly strong and distinct political opinions, which is causing irritation to many”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Parliamentary State Secretary Levente Magyar declared in Bratislava on Friday, where he took part in a panel discussion at the GLOBSEC foreign and security policy forum.
In the interests of protecting the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia, the Hungarian Government is submitting a memorandum to NATO calling for the introduction of a new policy with relation to Ukraine.
