“The Visegrád Group – the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – is the most successful group in Europe, and Slovakia is a friend and an important ally to Hungary”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó declared at the official inauguration of the new Hungarian Embassy in Bratislava.
“Hungarian-Romanian cooperation could result in a historic step forward for Hungary’s energy security”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI from Bucharest on Monday, following a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Minister of State for Security Policy and International Cooperation attended the “Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in the Fight against Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area”, organised by the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on 29 January in Rome.
