Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said the wave of violence in recent days in North America was shocking in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday, adding that according to information from the local authorities, no Hungarians are among the victims of the attacks.
“Chinese companies are contributing significantly to Hungary’s economic successes, Hungarian exports to China are expected to continue to increase, as is the ratio of added value in these products”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Minister of State for Economic Diplomacy, Levente Magyar said on Monday in Budapest at a press conference announcing a new investment by Hong Kong-based electronics manufacturer Ten Pao.
“It is totally natural and normal for Hungary and Romania to take joint action with regard to the amendment of Ukraine’s Act on Education”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a telephone statement to Hungarian news agency MTI, reporting on his visit to Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca) on Monday.
“Hungarian interests must be protected, and action must be taken with respect to unfair attacks against Hungary, even if they are made abroad by another Hungarian citizen”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Deputy State Secretary for Communication and Parliamentary Relations, Tamás Menczer said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Sunday.
“Germany’s political leaders also acknowledge the importance of border protection, and acknowledge Hungary’s performance, irrespective of which political side they belong to”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said following talks in Stuttgart on Friday.
“In accordance with the Prime Minister’s discussion in Estonia, Hungary will be re-establishing its ambassadorial presence in Holland”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday.
“A successful economic transformation requires strategic allies in view of the fact that in the competition between countries the successful ones will be those who are capable of reaching out to leading corporations”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Thursday in Budapest following the conclusion of a strategic partnership agreement with SAP Hungary Ltd.
