It was with shock that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade heard of the tragic accident in Mali in which two helicopter pilots from the German army lost their lives.
“It is obvious that Europe has a fundamental interest in the success of the Eastern Partnership initiative from both a security and economic perspective”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said following talks with Georgia’s Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, the recommendation by the Advocate-General of the European Court of Justice “fully matches the process known as the Soros plan”.
“Economic relations between Russia and Hungary have gained further impetus; following several years of decline, trade flow between the two countries increased by 30 percent during the first four months of this year and Hungarian exports to Russia increased by 24 percent”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Tuesday following a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and Russian Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov.
“As a result of the latest investment by Bosch, Robert Bosch Power Tool Ltd. in Miskolc has been supplemented by a regional service centre, making it the largest manufacturer of power tools in Europe and the largest unit in the Bosch Group”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced.
“The level of new investments in Hungary managed by the investment promotion system could break new records again this year”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference to assess the work of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) during the first six months of 2017.
“Hungary has a particular interest in the successful establishment of a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the European Union in view of the fact that the most important element of this partnership is cooperation within the field of energy”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Monday in Budapest following talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, it would be possible to stop illegal immigration across the Mediterranean Sea, but this requires implementation of the appropriate measures.
“The European Commission has ‘launched a manhunt’ against a few Central European countries that are speaking honestly and openly about the challenges facing Europe and were capable of providing effective responses to those challenges”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.
“French automotive industry company Sicta Ltd is expanding its existing plant in Felsőzsolca with an investment of 3.4 billion forints (EUR 11M), towards which the Hungarian Government is providing 437 million forints in funding, which is 13 percent of the total cost of the project”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced in Budapest on Wednesday.
